Calvary Christian runner wins track medal

Freshman Alexandra Brizzi has had three successful races in the past few weeks.

Calvary Christian freshman Alexandra Brizzi finished sixth in the 100 meters at the PIAA Class 2A track and field championships at Shippensburg University.

Brizzi ran 12.51. The winner, Girard College sophomore Thelma Davies, ran 11.62.

A week before the state meet, Brizzi was second to Davies in the 100 at the District One championships.

And a week before that, Brizzi won the 100 at the Bicentennial Athletic League championships. ••
